Aer Lingus resumes direct flights to Miami

The route will operate three times weekly, as part of the airline’s winter schedule. Ireland West Airport has launched its bumper winter schedule, with 84 weekly flights to and from a host of cities in the UK and Europe.
This winter, Ryanair will operate their largest ever winter schedule at Ireland West Airport, with 11 routes to choose from, including a new twice weekly winter service to Birmingham in the UK. Last week the teams took in the northwest, Tyrone, Derry, Cavan, Monaghan and Meath, Dublin suburbs and the sunny south east loop. High-end MSC Cruises ship to offer 1,075 passenger cabins for visitors to Doha from 19 November to 19 December.
MSC Cruises announced that MSC Opera will become a cruise ship hotel in Doha working in cooperation with Qatar’s Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy. The ship will be berthed ready to welcome visitors in the port from 19 November through to 19 December and will join MSC World Europa and MSC Poesia during this period.

The very impressive Hotel Fuerte El Rompido in the gorgeous little fisherman’s village of El Rompido, in the Province of Huelva, was the location for this year’s annual ITAA conference. The theme for ITAA members and trade partners was ‘Leading Teams and Selling Dreams’ and no better location to commence that journey as delegates arrived to soak up Huelva sunshine and sample some amazing sea food, local vino and incredible hospitality.

Jacinta Mc Glynn (Travelbiz) bids a sad and fond farewell to His Excellency, Sr Idelfonso Castro, our Spanish Ambassador to Ireland as he leaves these shores for pastures new. Celebrating Spain’s National Day on 12th October. His Excellency made an impassioned speech about his beloved native country and expressed his great love of Ireland too. He prefaced his words by offering heartfelt sympathy to the people of Creeslough, Co. Donegal for the horrific tragedy which unfolded there.

Tom Britton competes in Iron Man World Championships in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
Congratulations to our very own Iron Man Tom Britton who competed in the Iron Man World Championships in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii over the weekend.
The race entailed a 2.4-mile ocean swim, 112-mile cycle, followed by a leisurely 26.2-mile run!!!!! Sure, you wouldn’t go that far on your holidays!!!
Amazing Tom and well done on staying alive let alone completing the race.
