Air Service One – “Shannon is Ireland’s best recovered airport”

Shannon welcomed a record 1.34 million passengers in January-August 2023, up by about 14% versus 2019 and 5% over its previous peak in 2018. Comparing the recovery versus 2019 shows other Irish airports have bounced back slower: Cork’s traffic was +5.6%, Knock +1.9% and Dublin +1.2%. Shannon made history in several months so far this year, including August.

Widerøe to increase flights from Dublin to Bergen

Widerøe, represented by ASM-Ireland has announced an increase in flights on the Dublin-Bergen route for Summer 2024. The airline will add a Tuesday departure to the existing Thursday and Sunday flights, using their 110 seat Embraer E190-E2 jet aircraft.
