British Airways announce new direct service from London to Pittsburgh

With special fares starting from £600 return in World Traveller and £1,068 in World Traveller Plus; the new flight will operate four times a week, departing from London Heathrow on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday on-board the airline’s newest aircraft, the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.

 

Following a Facebook live announcement on Wednesday 25th July, a delegation from Pittsburgh’s business and community partners came together to formally mark the occasion at Pittsburgh International Airport together with Simon Brooks (British Airways’ Senior Vice President of Sales North America).

 

Speakers including Craig Davis (CEO VisitPITTSBURGH), Christina Cassotis (CEO Pittsburgh International Airport), Rich Fitzgerald (County Executive Allegheny County) and Simon Brooks (British Airways Senior Vice President Sales, North America) shared the message.

 

Craig Davis (CEO VisitPITTSBURGH) commented, “This is a momentous day in the visitors and tourism world.
