Onur Gull and Hasan Mutlu celebrated Turkish Airlines’ first flight from Dublin since Covid-19 lockdown and did it in style on an Airbus A321 Neo. Their Dublin - Istanbul route commenced 24th June and is now 4 times a week with operations performed by a A321 neo and have enhanced health and safety standards.

 

Onur commented, “It’s a busy flight... with many availing of the opportunity to fly to Turkish Airlines’ hub in Istanbul and make onward connections. There are many passengers heading to Antalya for some summer sunshine on Turkey’s turquoise coast”.

TK1975 (from 4 to 27 July) from Istanbul (06:45) to Dublin (09:25) on Days 1 and 6.

TK1976 (from 4 to 27 July) from Dublin (10:40) to Istanbul (17:05) on Days 1 and 6.

TK1977 (from 2 to 31 July) from Istanbul (13:10) to Dublin (15:45) on Days 4 and 5.

TK1978 (from 2 to 31 July) from Dublin (17:00) to Istanbul (23:30) on Days 4 and 5.

 

Turkish Airlines offer flexible travel opportunities given how difficult it is to plan. You can change your tickets purchased until 20 July 2020 for another flight until 31 December 2021 or into an open ticket to determine the date later. Turkish Airlines - Back to the Sky - Flights for July

USA & Canada flights - started in June to L.A. and from early July to Toronto, New York, Miami, Washington and Chicago. Services will include Montreal, San Francisco and Houston by late July.

 

Asia / Far East Flights - flights from June included Almaty, Bishkek, Hong Kong and Kabul. Early July sees flights to Delhi, Dhaka, Dushanbe, Guangzhou, Islamabad, Jakarta, Karachi, Lahore, Mumbai, Nur-Sultan, Tashkent and Tokyo. Mid-July destinations include Ashgabat Bangkok, Manila, Seoul, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

 

Middle East / Cyprus flights - June to Doha, Lefkosa and Tel Aviv. Early July to Ammanand, Beirut and Dubai. Mid July includes Baghdad, Erbil, Kuwait, Tehran, Bahrain, Jeddah and Riyadh

 

Central Europe flights - June to Amsterdam, Basel, Berlin, Brussels, Cologne, Frankfurt, Geneva, Hamburg, Hannover, Luxembourg, Munich, Stuttgart, Vienna and Zurich. Timetables in early July include Bremen, Nuremberg and Warsaw with Budapest, Dusseldorf and Prague from mid-July.

 

Northern Europe flights - Dublin has 4x weekly as of July 2, 2020. June flights commenced from Copenhagen, London, Minsk and Stockholm. Early July sees flights from Manchester and mid-July has flights from Birmingham, Edinburgh, Helsinki, Krasnodar, Moscow, Oslo and St Petersburg.

 

Southern Europe flights - Flights started to Paris and Lyon in June, expanding to Athens, Barcelona, Bologna, Madrid, Marseille, Milan, Rome, Toulouse and Venice at the start of July and Lisbon and Malaga by mid-July.

 

Eastern Europe / Balkans flights - Flights started to Belgrade, Sarajevo and Skopje in June, expanding to Bucharest, Chisinau, Kyiv, Ljubljana, Lviv, Odessa, Prishtina, Sofia, Tbilisi and Zagreb from July 1, 2020.

 

Africa - early July sees flights to Algeria, Cairo, Khartoum and Tunis as well as Abuja, Johannesburg and Lagos. Mid-July flights include Accra, Addis Ababa, Casablanca, Kinshasa, Nairobi, Nouakchott and Ouagadougou, expanding to Bamako and Niamey by late July.
