All travel restrictions lifted for travel to Egypt



The Egyptian government has removed since Friday 17 June 2022 all COVID entry restrictions for international travellers independently of their vaccination status (vaccinated or non-vaccinated).


Travellers to Egypt are not required to present any vaccination certificate or test result or any other document in order to enter the country. You can fly direct from Dublin to Cairo with Egyptair.


Egypt is country number 66 to remove all entry requirements. Foreigners from other countries will no longer need to show:

  • Proof of vaccination
  • Passenger locator forms
  • Pre-Departure Testing
  • Recovery from COVID-19
  • No testing on arrival
  • No testing after arrival
