To Charlotte with American Airlines

Following our recent visit to view the American Airlines B777 220 servicing Dublin direct to Charlotte, Don is on his way to sample the service first hand as he kicks off a USA road trip that will deliver him to IPW in Orlando on Sunday.

The service between DUB and CLT returned for the first time since 2019 earlier in May, and the overall service to Ireland will exceed pre-pandemic levels this summer. The daily service to DFW, ORD and CLT will operate until 29 October 2022. Flights will operate on the very impressive Boeing 787-8 aircraft, except for service to CLT which will operate with a Boeing 777-200.

Both aircraft types feature a world class onboard experience complete with lie-flat Flagship Business suites and spacious Premium Economy seats. In addition, passengers can enjoy state-of-the-art interiors, live TV streaming, inflight Wi-Fi and hundreds of movies and TV shows on-demand at every seat.
