Tastes and Sights of Connecticut
13th October 2017 - 10:35am
Yvonne Muldoon (Sales Director Aer Lingus), Joe Courtney (United States Congressman 2nd district, Connecticut) and Anne S Evans (Director US Department of Commerce) welcomed Irish travel trade partners to their Sights and Tastes of Connecticut networking event in Dublin’s Gibson Hotel. The delegation from Connecticut had the added bonus of celebrating with the Dublin Football into the early hours as the Gibson Hotel was the base for the squad following their historic win against Mayo in the all Ireland Football final in Croke Park.
The trade turned out in great numbers to avail of the opportunity to visit partners from Connecticut promoting their products and services along with sampling local wines and traditional Connecticut food. The gateway to New England is serviced on a daily basis by Aer Lingus from Dublin to Bradley International, which is the second largest airport in New England and only a short drive away from all the major attractions.
