Events

Malta hosts several fantastic events throughout the year such as Isle of MTV, which takes place in July and has been running for 14 years. The event has featured several high profile acts including Calvin Harris, Snoop Dogg & Lady Gaga to name a few. Other events that take place every year include the Valletta Baroque Festival in January, the Malta Carnival in February and the Malta International Fireworks Festival.

There are also some great events taking place in the run up to Christmas 2022 including Fairyland which will be arriving at Pjazza Tritoni in Valletta from the 8th December. This year, there will be several fantastic attractions including, Rudolph’s Wheel - to give you the best bird’s eye view of Valletta - to an Ice-Skating Rink for anyone looking to test their skills. There will also be a Christmas Market so that you can pick up some festive treats and a World Cup Village so that football fans can cheer on their favourite team in the World Cup, whilst enjoying a beer, warm drinks and good food.

Then on the 12th and 13th December, international troupe That’ll Be The Day will perform two Christmas concerts at the Hilton Conference Centre. This timeless Rock ‘n’ Roll Christmas Show combines all of our favourite pop Christmas classics and traditional Christmas songs with hilarious comedy sketches and world-class impersonations that you won’t want to miss!
