Princess Cruises continues partnership with Aer Lingus for its 2026 Mediterranean cruise programme

#Traveltradetogether

Princess Cruises has confirmed it has secured flight allocations with Aer Lingus for its 2026 Mediterranean cruise programme. Launched in 2023, Princess will continue its successful partnership with the airline to provide travel agents with the ability to book convenient flight and cruise packages for customers who book a 2026 Mediterranean voyage with Princess.

The renewed partnership supports 39 voyages on Sun Princess and Enchanted Princess, sailing May to September 2026, with 38 return flights and 750 seats available with Aer Lingus, roundtrip from Dublin to Rome, Barcelona, and Athens.

Flights will be available to book 330 days from the inbound date and are available to book via Princess’ air booking system, Plane Sailing.

All flights are direct and flexible, priced at €360 per person in May and September, and €380 in June, July, and August. The fare includes late arrival protection, a post-cruise missed flight guarantee, and no fee for cancellations or amendments up to 54 days before departure.

Customers choosing the Flexible Air option have the benefit of confirming flights without payment. They can select flights, hold them on their reservation and pay for them with final payment.

As the first vessel in Princess Cruises’ Sphere Class, and the largest ship in the fleet, the 4,300-guest Sun Princess launched in early 2024 and debuts brand-new venues such as The Dome – a tranquil indoor oasis on top deck that transforms into a multilevel entertainment venue at night – and the Princess Arena – Princess’ most technologically advanced theatre.

In 2026, Sun Princess will be sailing 7-, 14- and 21-night Mediterranean cruises departing Rome, Athens, and Barcelona, including a 14-night Total Solar Eclipse itinerary, which departs 8 August from Barcelona.

Enchanted Princess, the fifth ship in the Royal Class, debuted in 2021 and is one of only two Princess ships to offer 360: An Extraordinary Experience, a multi-sensory dining journey combining regional cuisine with immersive storytelling.

In 2026, the 3,660-guest Enchanted Princess will sail roundtrip from Civitavecchia (for Rome) for the first time, offering 7- and 14-night voyages that visit countries including Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Croatia.

Voyages included in the Aer Lingus flight allocation include:

  • Seven-night Mediterranean & Aegean cruise, onboard Enchanted Princess, sailing roundtrip from Civitavecchia (for Rome). Cruise departs on Tuesday 12 May 2026, calling at Naples (for Capri & Pompeii), Santorini, Kusadasi (for Ephesus) and Katakolon (for Olympia). Cruise fares start from €961pp. Roundtrip Dublin flights cost €360 per person.
  • Seven-night Mediterranean cruise onboard Sun Princess, sailing from Barcelona to Civitavecchia (for Rome). Cruise departs on Saturday 19 September 2026, calling at Gibraltar, Marseille (Provence), Genoa (for Cinque Terre) and La Spezia (for Florence/Pisa). Cruise fares start from €1,007pp. Roundtrip Dublin flights cost €360 per person.

Abbie Cook, Ireland sales manager for Princess Cruises, said: “We are proud to continue our successful partnership with Aer Lingus and remain deeply committed to the Irish trade. Feedback from agents in 2025 highlighted how valuable this flight allocation was in making cruise travel seamless for their customers. By securing direct, roundtrip flights from Dublin at a flexible fare, we’re offering both convenience and peace of mind—empowering our partners to provide tailor-made holidays to their customers with confidence.”
