Dubai Duty Free Irish Pro Am with team Emirates.

Our very own Don Shearer teed it up on Wednesday at the amazing Mount Juliet at the Irish Open pro-am with Enda Corneille (Country Manager Emirates) and fellow trade partners with team Emirates.

The Emirates teams were joined by golfing superstars Graham Mc Dowell, Andy Sullivan and David Howell. The Emirates teams on the day included Enda Corneille, David Hayeems, Aidan Coughlan, Des Manning, George Hook, Lynn Morgans, Don Shearer, Mark Clifford and Martin Callanan.

What an amazing experience and what a way to get back to interacting with industry colleagues and friends. The experience is one I shall never forget. David Howell was a pure gent and really up for the craic! We shared a lot of stories (not for publication) and he was genuinely interested in our sector and how we work together. That was and wasn’t the case at times on the fairways but we pulled in a good score and shared a lot of laughs and some memorable shots!

As we start to get back to a degree pf normality the hospitality Enda and the entire Emirates team provided for all trade partners and guests in Mount Juliet is one that will stay with me for a long time. It’s all about the people and great brands longevity and support is built on that foundation.
