Jacinta Mc Glynn (Travelbiz) was invited to join Cathay Pacific in House on Dublin’s Leeson Street to celebrate its 1st birthday on the Dublin to Hong Kong route. A very successful flight series sees Dublin connect with a truly exciting and colourful city with connections to elsewhere in China and the Far East.

Anyone visiting Hong Kong can attest to a destination that is both intimate and international. Dramatic in location and equally dramatic in nature, Hong Kong is vastly interesting. From Victoria Peak to Stanley Market to a cruise on the impossibly busy harbour, Hong Kong’s skyscraper-studded skyline will thrill and amaze. Ed Fotheringham (Cathay Pacific) told us the airline carried 80.000 passengers from Dublin last year as well as cargo comprising seafood and temperature controlled pharmaceuticals. He expressed appreciation to DAA and ITAA for great support throughout. Delicious canapes, lychee cocktails and Fiona Noonan as hostess guaranteed a packed “House”. Cathay Pacific has vision and can-do attitude with their motto of Move Beyond. Continued success.
