Air Canada has its largest schedule ever from Ireland with a peak of 20 flights a week between Ireland and Canada this summer. The two recently launched seasonal Air Canada Shannon to Toronto and Dublin to Montreal services complement the existing Air Canada Dublin -Toronto daily summer service and the Air Canada Rouge Dublin-Vancouver service which has a peak frequency of 5 flights per week.

The new services are proving popular with both corporate and leisure travelers. Travellers in the South and West of the country can now avail of the first direct service from Shannon to Canada in many years and includes the possibility of connections via Toronto to popular destinations such as Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Las Vegas, Florida and Cuba.

The Montreal service from Dublin opens up the fabulous cosmopolitan city of Montreal to the Irish.  A great restaurant scene, numerous festivals and historic architecture combine to provide a quirky and cultural holiday destination. Montreal can be used as a starting point for exploring the rest of Quebec including quaint Quebec City and also to connect with Ireland’s historic links with Quebec at Gros Isle. Montreal also affords convenient to destinations such as the Canadian Maritime provinces.

The summer services last until mid-October for Dublin-Vancouver, Shannon-Toronto and Dublin-Montreal while the Dublin-Toronto frequency remains on daily until 10th November so Canada in the fall is sure to be a hit for Irish travellers this year.
