Benedicte Duval (New GM Air France / KLM UK & Ireland) meets Travelbiz
25th October 2017 - 4:15pm
Benedicte Duval (New General Manager Air France / KLM UK & Ireland) met Gerry Benson (Publisher & Editor Travelbiz) for an update on the Irish services. “For the period January to September 2017, the Dublin Amsterdam route has achieved the highest load factor (87.5%) across whole UK and Ireland network. For Winter 2017/2018, KLM will offer five daily services on the Dublin Amsterdam route, two frequencies will be operated by KLM mainline on a B737 aircraft and three frequencies will be operated by KLM Cityhopper on an Embraer 190 aircraft,” Said Benedicte.
"Air France will commence operating their own product in addition to the code share with CityJet for Winter 2017/2018. Daily, there will be two frequencies operated by Air France mainline using a A318 aircraft, one by Hop using an Embraer 190 and one by CityJet using an AR8. Although the frequency will reduce from five to four daily flights, the capacity remains the same due to the introduction of larger aircraft on the route. The average load factor for the Air France route is also very high at 87.2%,” added Benedicte.
