Aer Lingus have new measures and are implementing new procedures to look after passengers including physical distancing, use of protective screens, reduced contact with others and surfaces, hand sanitisation stations and passengers wearing face masks (reusable cloth or disposable)  in airports and on flights. If passengers are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, do not travel to the airport.  Please check in online and use self-service, limit contact with others and surfaces and follow good hand hygiene etiquette.

 

Aer Lingus planes have enhanced deep cleaning with hospital grade disinfectant and are fitted with air filtration used in hospital operation theatres), removing 99.97% of airborne particles such as viruses & bacteria. Cabin air is replaced every 3 minutes. New boarding and disembarkation procedures means boarding will be in small groups and per citro number. Passengers scan their boarding pass and show ID to the crew to make this process contactless.

 

Inflight services including food & drink are suspended on short haul and reduced on long haul with contactless payment for purchases. There is reduced passenger movement in the cabin throughout flights. Cabin crew will wear face masks.
