Aer Lingus & RCI Trade Fam Miami
13th October 2017 - 2:05pm
Aer Lingus and RCI ran a trade Fam to see both the new Aer Lingus flight to Miami as well as RCI’s Harmony of the Seas. After arriving in Miami and staying the night, the Fam started off with a bus journey to Fort Lauderdale which took about 35 minutes, where they boarded the biggest ship in the world, Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas. They had a fantastic ship visit and were on board for over four hours. The group saw everything from the seven neighbourhoods to all the restaurants and finished up in Jamie Oliver’s Italian restaurant. The food was phenomenal. They couldn't move an inch afterwards as there was so much to choose from!
Two or three of the group wanted to stow away and not leave! Afterwards they made their way back to Miami and visited the Royal Caribbean head office in Miami before getting back to the Intercontinental Miami to refresh for our sunset catamaran cruise. “Now we didn't actually get to see the sunset as it was a tad cloudy but it was a fantastic sunset cruise all the same and the views looking back on to the city of Miami was unbelievable. Post-cruise we went back to the hotel and we had dinner in Toro Toro restaurant where again the food was to die for,” said James Fleming (Sunway) who was reporting for Travelbiz.
