APG Sophistication with the Ladies

Eileen Penrose and Paul Nolan (both APG) invited a lovely group of ladies to afternoon tea in Shelbourne Hotel, St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin and Jacinta Mc Glynn (Travelbiz) was delighted to join for an afternoon of camaraderie and craic, abeit very elegant and sophisticated “craic”! Tres chic. Finger sandwiches, mini scones with clotted cream, gingerbread, melting caramel bombes, peach eclairs and pretty patisserie to please a Princess were daintily consumed with Earl Grey and Sweet Nana (mint tea, if you don’t mind).

Of course, a little glass of Bubbly kept the conversation flowing and reminded Paul that he was indeed blessed amongst women! A worldwide celebration of 275 – the ticketing code for APG – was cleverly held on 27/5 (May 27th) and celebrated in many areas and in various guises. It was rumoured that some chose to run several ridiculous kilometres to mark the occasion, so weren’t we the lucky ones to have afternoon tea instead! Much more civilised….. APG certainly know how to treat the ladies. Thank you, Eileen and Paul, and thank you APG. May gentle zephyrs continue to bolster your wings.
