Star Alliance Christmas Lunch

On December 11th Jacinta from Travelbiz attended the annual Christmas lunch organised by Star Alliance and generously sponsored by Shannon Airport and Dublin Airport.

As always, the Shelbourne sparkled, guests glittered, food was festive and Martina was magnificent as she warmly welcomed us all and advised the newest trends in aviation. Alan Sparling (ANA Air Nippon), Miray Maksudoglu (Turkish Airlines), Martina Coogan (United Airlines), Ricardo Dinis (Tap Air Portugal), Blaithin O’Donnell (Air Canada) and Julie Murphy (Chair Star Alliance) were all represented.

Fun banter ensued with the legendary Declan Power from Shannon AirPort and Eoin Mc Loughlin from Dublin Airport who both cited excellent figures and ongoing efforts to facilitate growth in their respective domains. The friendly rivalry never ceases!

There are impressive plans afoot to get us off our tiny island, so rest easy that we’re in good hands with Star Alliance members and airport personnel working together.

Thank you for a lovely lunch and Happy Christmas to all Star Alliance members, distinguished guests and travel partners.
