Spring Hotels Showcases Tenerife at Holiday World Show, Dublin

Strong Irish demand drives bookings for 2026 and 2027 and boosts agent engagement.

Spring Hotels has reported strong Irish demand following its attendance at the Holiday World Show at the RDS in Dublin, with bookings secured for 2026 and 2027. Despite torrential rain throughout the weekend, the exhibition attracted thousands of visitors eager to plan future holidays and escape the unpredictable Irish weather.

Spring Hotels welcomed hundreds of visitors to its stand across the three days, with particular interest in Tenerife and the range of experiences available across the Spring Hotels portfolio. While the show is primarily a consumer event, the team also noted strong interest from travel agents exploring future collaboration opportunities.

A standout feature of the exhibition was Spring Hotels’ prize draw for a seven-night stay at one of its Tenerife properties. The competition generated significant interest, with close to 600 entries recorded, highlighting strong demand for the destination.

“The Holiday World Show once again demonstrated the strong demand from the Irish market, with a clear appetite for Tenerife as a year-round destination. We were particularly encouraged to see bookings confirmed on the spot for both 2026 and 2027, alongside strong engagement from agents interested in developing closer partnerships with Spring Hotels,” said Jo Robinson, Chief Sales Officer at Spring Hotels.

In addition to consumer engagement, the Holiday World Show provided an opportunity for Spring Hotels to strengthen relationships with existing travel partners and introduce the brand to new travel companies interested in collaboration.

Following the exhibition, Spring Hotels representatives Don Clarke and Anna Marie Lacey travelled to the south of Ireland to visit several travel agencies. During these meetings, they promoted SpringPro, the company’s dedicated agent platform, while sharing updates across the hotel portfolio. The response from the Irish travel trade was overwhelmingly positive, with agents demonstrating strong enthusiasm for the destination and product offering.

“Spending time with travel agents across Ireland was incredibly valuable. There was genuine enthusiasm for our product and strong interest in SpringPro, with agents keen to understand how we can support them more closely through training, updates and direct communication,” added Anna Marie Lacey, Agency Support Coordinator at Spring Hotels.

Overall, the Ireland visit enabled Spring Hotels to reinforce key partnerships, build new trade relationships, and further position the brand as a leading choice for Irish travellers seeking quality, comfort, and year-round sunshine in Tenerife.
