AWTE International Women’s Day Event Invitation

The Association of Women Travel Executives (AWTE) will host its annual International Women’s Day celebration on Thursday, 12 March, at Opium Botanical Gardens, Wexford Street, Dublin, bringing together travel industry professionals for an afternoon of connection, inspiration and celebration.

Running from 12:30pm to 4:00pm, the event welcomes both women and men from across the travel industry, including members and non-members, to celebrate the people and partnerships that make the sector thrive.

Guests will enjoy a three-course lunch, drinks, networking opportunities and fantastic spot prizes, alongside engaging entertainment throughout the afternoon. The event is proudly supported by Visit Costa del Sol.

A highlight of the day will be a special guest address from Bernie Burke, a respected industry leader and long-time friend of AWTE. Her insights and experience promise to inspire attendees and celebrate the strength and resilience of women across the travel community.
Continuing a much-loved tradition from last year, AWTE will also showcase its popular “Shout Out” initiative, inviting attendees to recognise the female colleagues and mentors who make a difference every day. These messages will be displayed during the lunch as a celebration of support, leadership and camaraderie within the industry.

‘This event is about celebrating our industry, building meaningful connections and recognising the incredible people who support and uplift one another,’ said Olwen McKinney, AWTE Chairperson, ‘International Women’s Day provides the perfect opportunity to come together, share stories and celebrate achievements across the travel community.’

AWTE invites travel industry professionals to gather colleagues and friends for an afternoon filled with inspiration, networking and celebration.
