MSC Cruises Introduces New Summer 2024 ‘Stay & Cruise’ Programme

Guests can extend their cruise with a new add-on package with an additional two or three-night accommodation before or after their cruise, coupled with a half-day city excursion.

11 ships are now offering the new programme this summer 2024 across five destinations; Athens, Venice, Rome, Miami and New York.

MSC Cruises today announced its new summer 2024 ‘Stay & Cruise’ programme, offering guests the chance to further elevate their seven-night cruise into an extraordinary nine or ten-night holiday.

The enriching programme includes a new add-on package, providing guests the opportunity to extend their holidays of discovery before or after their seven-night cruise at sea with an additional two-night accommodation with breakfast included at a 4-star hotel in Athens, Venice and Rome or a 3-star hotel in Miami as well as the option for two or three nights at a 4-star hotel in New York. Included in the package is also a half-day city excursion to discover the city’s top attractions.

To ensure an even more seamless end-to-end holiday experience, the offer features private ground transfers including from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the ship for guests staying before the cruise. Similarly, for guests staying after the cruise, transfers include from the ship to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport.

Antonio Paradiso, Vice President of International Sales for MSC Group’s Cruise Division and Managing Director for the UK & Ireland said:At MSC Cruises, we listen to what our guests want and evolve our product offering based on their feedback. We know that they enjoy the flexibility of tailoring their perfect holidays as well as exploring new destinations. This is why we have introduced our new Stay & Cruise programme so that guests can spend extra time enjoying some incredible destinations before joining, or after departing, an MSC Cruise.

The ‘Stay & Cruise’ offer is available on various MSC Cruises Summer 2024 sailings in the Mediterranean and Caribbean and currently available to book through MSC Cruises Contact Centre or through travel agents.

For travellers embarking on a Western or Eastern Mediterranean cruise and are looking to further discover the capital city of Rome, the offer is linked on MSC Divina, MSC Fantasia, MSC Musica, MSC Seaside and MSC Seaview from Civitavecchia before or after their cruise.

For further options for those sailing in the Eastern Mediterranean, the add-on package for extended exploration of Venice is available pre-or post-cruise with MSC Armonia, MSC Lirica and MSC Sinfonia from Marghera-Venice. Additionally, guests sailing on MSC Opera, departing from the port of Piraeus, can opt to prolong their holiday of discovery in Athens before their cruise.

The offer can be booked with Caribbean itineraries on MSC Seascape departing from Miami for an additional two-day stay in Miami before the cruise.

Guests will also have the opportunity to extend their holiday pre-cruise in New York with MSC Meraviglia departing from New York.

Air travel can also be booked through MSC Cruises and added to the ‘Stay & Cruise’ packages to allow guests to also book convenient flights ahead of an unforgettable cruise journey.

The option for an add-on package for Istanbul will soon be available this April 2024 for MSC Cruises Winter 2024/2025 ‘Stay & Cruise’ programme.

MSC Cruises ‘Stay & Cruise’ packages have been put together in partnership with its 100 per cent owned Italian tour operator, Going.
