Avalon Waterways thanks Irish Trade Partners for their continued support!

Ita Hendrick, our Travelbiz River Cruising crew member, reports from Bang Restaurant, Dublin, where Avalon Waterways hosted a fantastic afternoon of appreciation and connection.

Alan Sparling and Jo-Ann Raleigh of ASM Ireland (GSA for Avalon Waterways) welcomed Lesley Taylor (Managing Director) and Phil Shipman (Sales Director) of Avalon Waterways and Becky Fairlie-Clarke (Director Magic Torch PR) as they met with key Irish travel trade and media partners.

It was an afternoon of great food, inspiring updates, and a big thank you to the Irish trade for their support — plus a special birthday celebration for Linda Jones of The Travel Boutique in Bray!

With a global fleet of over 20 sleek river cruise vessels across Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America, Avalon Waterways offers panoramic views, spacious suites, and fresh local cuisine — delivering unforgettable journeys along the world’s legendary rivers.

Plus! Who says the river cruise adventure ends with the sun? In 2026, Avalon is turning up the night with Avalon After Dark – a dazzling new way to experience river cruising after hours. From dedicated entertainment to more after-dark port adventures and Sky Grill dinners under the stars. Whether sipping a perfectly crafted new cocktail on the Sky Deck, swaying to live music in the Panorama Lounge or stepping ashore for a moonlit city escape, Avalon After Dark ensures that every moment – day or night – is one to remember.

Stay tuned for the full Avalon Waterways feature this week on the brand-new Travelbiz Trade Partner Hub!
