Shannon Airport Expands Park4Less Car Park with 1,000 New Spaces Ahead of Busy Summer Travel Season

#Traveltradetogether

The Shannon Airport Group is pleased to announce the expansion of its car parking facilities with the addition of 1,000 new spaces in its best value, Park4Less car park, ensuring greater choice for passengers flying from Shannon Airport during the busy summer travel season.

This latest investment underscores the group’s commitment to the continued enhancement of the customer experience and comes as part of an ongoing €30 million euro investment across Shannon Airport and the Shannon Airport Business Park. With demand for parking surging during peak travel periods, these additional spaces will provide much-needed additional capacity and streamline the arrival process for passengers.

Speaking today, Niall Kearns, Airport Director, Shannon Airport said: “Our goal is to make every aspect of the passenger journey as smooth and enjoyable as possible, and that includes their interaction with us before they even step inside the airport doors. These additional spaces in our Park4Less car park offer even more cost-effective choice to customers. This car park is ideal for those heading off on longer summer holidays and like all our car parks, it is still only a short walk to the terminal.”

In addition to this expansion, Shannon Airport continues to offer a variety of existing options with over 5600 spaces across 5 short-stay and long-stay car parks, with walking distance to the terminal ranging from just 30 seconds to 7 minutes. Passengers are reminded that the best value rates for car parking are always available when pre-booked online at shannonairport.ie

There is also good news for those arriving and continuing their journey by bus. Shannon Airport is the only airport offering travellers access to real-time bus departure information via their website. This facility will also be available shortly via the Shannon Airport app, as well as visible on newly installed screens in the arrivals area, ensuring passengers can quickly and easily check departure times, making onward travel from the airport smoother and stress-free.
