The Irish Travel Agents Association Hold Annual General Meeting in Dublin – new board members elected

The Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) held their Annual General Meeting at Dublin’s InterContinental Hotel yesterday, Thursday 18th April.  It was confirmed that Angela Walsh, CEO and founder of FROSCH Ireland, has been officially re-elected as President of the Irish Travel Agents Association.

Emma McHugh, Managing Partner at Atlantic Travel was re-elected as Treasurer. Other appointments to the ITAA board were Paul Hackett, Sara Zimmerman, Alan Lynch, Martin Skelly, Peter Brazil, Tom Randles, Jeff Collins and Maura Fahy.

Speaking at the AGM, Angela Walsh said “It is a great honour to begin my second year in office as President. It has been an eventful journey so far, filled with challenges, valuable insights and important lessons. Yet, through it all, the resilience and dedication of our industry has shone through once again.”

She continued, “To thrive in this environment, travel agents must leverage technology as a tool to enhance the customer experience. The customer must be at the heart of every interaction and always be our number one priority.”

Clare Dunne, CEO of the ITAA stated, “As I continue my role as CEO, I am delighted to be joined by an incredible team of experts. Each member of the board brings a wealth of experience and knowledge. I know our combined efforts will lead to a successful year for the association.”
