Travelport TIGS Captains day - Killeen Castle Golf Club

Tanya Airey (MD Sunway) celebrated her TIGS captains’ day in style yesterday at the Killeen Castle Golf club.   Sponsored by Travelport, represented by David Conlon, Joanne Madden and Tara Hynes, one could not have wished for a better day.   In glorious sunshine, TIGS members and guests made their way around the Jack Nicholas designed course which was in magnificent condition.   Travelbiz was there to capture all of the action both on and off the course.   The challenge proved too much for some and there were a lot of weary looking golfers when all convened to the 19^th for some welcome refreshments.   Not too much of a challenge for the winners on the day though.

The overall Ladies Champion on the Day was Gillian Lowry (Kildare Village Outlet) with a fantastic score of 35 points!   Gillian had an incredible day as she also won the Ladies Longest drive and Overall Ladies Golfer of the Year and was presented with the Paddy O’Keefe Trophy.    Gordon Penney was the very popular winner of the men’s overall prize on the day shooting a fantastic score of 38 points.   Martin Dempsey (MD Dempsey Travel Trim) won the Men’s Golfer of the Year, receiving the Paddy O’Keeffe trophy.    For more pictures and all winners on the day log onto our Travelbiz Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Travelbiz.ie/
