Topflight hosted an Italian evening to celebrate the launch of the 2020 Topflight Italy brochure. Trade and press were welcomed to Ballyknocken House & Culinary School in Wicklow, run by celebrity chef, Catherine Fulvio. Much like the venue, Topflight is a multi-award winning company focused on authentic holiday experiences and aptly choose the venue to launch the 2020 season.
Tony Collins (Chairman Topflight Travel Group); “We are delighted to present our Italy brochure for 2020, showcasing the variety that Italy and indeed our Italian programme has to offer. From soft, sandy beaches to mountain-lined lakes, cosmopolitan cities to rolling countryside hills, with over 40 years of experience, we are here to help you discover it all”.
Tony Collins commented that this year’s focus for Topflight has been on customer service with a significant investment in training and development across all levels and divisions within the company to the extent that they confidently boast having the best customer service in the business. As any of the trade know, happy customer leads to a much happier life at work. As previously reported by Travelbiz, following feedback from the trade, Topflight no longer offer online discounts so customers pay the same price online as with an agent.
Attendees tried their hand at some fantastic Italian dishes under the watchful eye of Catherine and her team. The menu consisted Tuscan bean soup with smokey bacon and parmesan, open ravioli with chicken, white wine and mushroom sauce and an apple cake made with oil, Christmas spices and zesty lemon.
