Jacinta Mc Glynn (Senior Reporter Travelbiz) had the pleasure of enjoying Dublin’s newest upmarket restaurant, Glovers Alley, courtesy of Irish owned tour operator Sunway, who joined forces with the Menorcan Tourist Board to promote this beautiful and lesser known Balearic Island. Menorca is magical for families with great properties tailor-made for kiddies and parents and even adult only hotels and apartments to satisfy those who prefer their holiday enjoyment without the little darlings! Prices for holidays in Menorca are surprisingly reasonable, so everyone can visit.

Menorca is the perfect holiday venue - gorgeous beaches, sunshine and laid back, lovely resorts – all details with Sunway’s super staff. Delicious food in Glovers Alley included amazing amuses bouches and food like pure paintings on a plate. A well attended soiree with media and Spanish Tourist Office personnel, the evening was a delightful blend of business and gourmand pleasure. Thanks to our gracious and generous hosts, Sunway and Menorca Tourist Board for sponsorship. Sunway has a weekly flight into Mahon, only a couple of hours from Dublin. Put Menorca, baby sister of Majorca and Ibiza, on your travel bucket list. Menorca won’t disappoint as the island simply oozes traditional charm and is still intrinsically Spanish.
