Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara & Silversea Cruises have launched a new online hub ‘RCL Cares’ to support Irish trade Partners.   RCL Cares offers information ranging from wellbeing support for families to links to government, ABTA advice to businesses, trade FAQs and contact details for sales support teams.  The latest corporate messaging from RCL, alongside details of the RCL Cruise with Confidence policy, will also be made available. The hub will continue to be updated with Group news and additional support measures.

Ben Bouldin (VP EMEA RCL) comments: “We can’t emphasise enough how integral our trade partners are to our business and how valued they are to us, which is why we have launched RCL Cares; a centralised platform to make it as easy as possible for our trade partners to find the information they need”.

Jo Rzymowska (VP & MD EMEA Celebrity Cruises) adds: “This is one of the most challenging periods our industry has seen and naturally we want to support our trade partners in any way that we can. Whether that’s by sharing our latest branded content, updated policies or even supporting with wellbeing activities for the family, we hope RCL Cares will help ease the pressure during this difficult time”.

Peter Shanks (MD UK Ireland Middle East & Africa, Silversea Cruises) says: “We are all in this together with our valued trade partners and we are committed to supporting them through these difficult times. RCL Cares says exactly that – we care about our trade partners”.

David Duff (Commercial Director Azamara Club Cruises) comments: “If we can take any positives from this challenging time, I hope that it will bring us even closer to our trade partners via initiatives such as RCL Cares. We will continue to build on this site, using the platform to offer any support we can”.

This follows Celebrity Cruises new initiatives to help trade agents stay connected and feel supported: Celebrity Central streamlines brand information and booking tools into one central hub and features all the latest updates including the latest policies. To stay connected with and support agents in real time, Live Chat on the Celebrity Central platform is available alongside the usual trade support, call centre and sales support channels. Virtual Updates and Training Sessions - Celebrity Cruises’ sales team is holding live webinars on news, advise what's selling well and share top sales tips in these unfamiliar times.

Celebrity Cruises is seeing a positive demand for 2021 bookings, and is encouraging agents to inspire customers to look ahead by using Celebrity Central to access ready-to-share offers and social media content. Downloadable resources including Cruise with Confidence policy summary grids and FAQs are handy for keeping clients up to date with the latest information.

Luxury-themed training sessions are being held monthly by Jonny Peat (Business Development Manager) and Emma Rigby (Luxury Business Development Executive) covering topics such as the Edge Series and the Galapagos. Next up is April’s masterclass on The Retreat, being held on Tuesday 28th April. Details on how to join these sessions will be shared via the Celebrity Cruises’ Agent Facebook pages.
