Qatar Airways is the first airline in the Middle East, and just the fifth worldwide, to secure accreditation to the highest level in the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Environmental Assessment programme.

Qatar Airways is one of the few global airlines to have never stopped flying throughout this crisis. The airline’s mix of modern fuel-efficient aircraft helped it to develop a sustainable and adapted solution, allowing it to continue flying routes with less overall demand as it has a variety of aircraft it can select from to offer the right capacity in each market.

Due to COVID-19’s impact on travel demand, the airline has taken the decision to ground its fleet of Airbus A380s as it is not commercially or environmentally justifiable to operate such a large aircraft in the current market. For more information, see HERE.

Expect the highest standards of hygiene and the latest security measures as you journey with one of the largest and most experienced global airline, which remained flying consistently throughout this pandemic.

At Qatar Airways, the airline extends its full support to your existing and upcoming travel plans. So when you are ready, you can travel with the airline you can trust.

Remember, you can benefit from more options and greater flexibility for travel up to 31 December 2020:

- Hold on to your ticket - now valid for two years

- Unlimited changes - date or destination

- Exchange for future travel - voucher with 10% additional value

- Swap for Qmiles to spend them however you like

- Refund your ticket if your flight gets cancelled
