Caribtours Alan Sparling is going to Barbados with some lucky trade partners

British Airways and the Barbados Tourist Board were joined by Alan Sparling, representing Caribtours in Ireland, and more lucky agents as part of the 65-year celebration of British Airways flying to Barbados. Alan was joined by Ian Manto (Harvey Travel), Orla Dunne, Sophie Phelan and not forgetting Bonnie Dimitrova.

Once again British Airways rolled out the Clubworld carpet for all the crew with full lounge access and the real turn left experience all the way to Bridgetown where they will join Tara Magee (British Airways), Shane Cullen (Travelbiz.ie) along with colleagues and friends from Ireland and the UK.

From the rum-swilling buccaneers and colonial sugar barons of old, to the modern-day jet set playing cat-and-mouse with the paparazzi on board their luxury yachts, Barbados has long enticed adventurers and pleasure seekers to its platinum sands. Today this tiny island in the eastern Caribbean offers everything from magnificent, tranquil beaches to dramatic cliffs, rugged rolling hills, superb restaurants and picture-perfect golf courses. And it’s particularly popular with Irish and British travellers; the quaint little villages, with their churches and cricket pitches, are rather redolent of home, albeit with the occasional monkey in the trees to remind you that you’re in the tropics.
