Inspired by its extensive route network to Asia, Emirates hosted a Taste of Asia media dinner in the Nightmarket Thai Restaurant in Ranelagh to celebrate its multi-award-winning cuisine and to mark eight years of operations from Dublin.

The event was hosted by Enda Corneille (Country Manager Ireland-Emirates) and his colleagues Anita Thomas and Jane Masterson while Declan Mescall (Features Editor) represented Travelbiz.

Emirates will shortly carry its 3 millionth passenger on the Dublin-Dubai route which has capacity for 22,000 pax monthly. The airline is currently experiencing significant growth in demand for Asia and will begin a new daily service from Dubai (DBX) to Penang (PEN) via Singapore (SIN) from 9 April.
