Emirates has announced the expansion of its sales team with the appointment of dedicated sales executives for Northern Ireland and the Munster region, as well as an additional sales executive for Dublin and Connaught.   Lisa Rabbitte, Lynsey Lamont and Helena Sweeney are the newest recruits to the growing Emirates sales team in Ireland which now has a physical presence in Belfast, Dublin and Munster respectively.   They will join Filippo Rocchi (Corporate Sales Executive) and Anita Thomas (Sales Manager) in driving the airline forward in Ireland.

Commenting on the new sales appointments, Enda Corneille (Country Manager Ireland) said, “With two Boeing 777 daily flights to Dubai and onwards to over 140 destinations worldwide, Emirates continues to grow strongly in the Irish market.   To drive this growth further and in order to provide more comprehensive nationwide support to our travel trade partners, we are expanding our sales team to five.   This expansion is in direct response to increased levels of demand for Emirates in Ireland and it’s great to have such seasoned experts as Lisa, Lynsey and Helena join the team.   They are very customer focused and I’m confident that each will deliver an exceptional level of service to our clients.”

Lynsey Lamont, a Belfast native, has extensive experience in the tourism industry having worked for Northern Ireland Travel News across its editorial and business divisions.   In addition, Lynsey worked as Commercial Executive for Belfast based tour operator, Travel Solutions dealing directly with its clients.

Lisa Rabbitte, having achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in International Hospitality Management, started her career in the customer service department of retail giant, Marks and Spencer.   Most recently, Lisa held the position of Sales Manager at Bewley’s Hotel Leopardstown where her role was focused on driving corporate sales.

Helena Sweeney’s appointment to the Munster region means that Emirates will have a permanent, physical presence in this area for the first time.   A widely experienced travel professional, Helena spent several years as a travel marketing consultant focusing on sales and has also worked in-house with a leading travel agency.   The Clare native will report directly to the Dublin office.

All three sales executives are being flown to Dubai for training and to experience, first hand, the Emirates difference, which includes an award-winning service onboard one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the sky.
