Etihad Airways presented their new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on their Dublin Route which will increase frequency to 11 flights per week during the summer season. Travelbiz’s Shane Cullen was welcomed on board the week old craft by Karen Maloney (Etihad Sales Manager Ireland) and experienced first hand Etihad’s industry-leading, award-winning cabins.

In addition to Etihad Airways’ daily morning departures from Dublin to Abu Dhabi, the four additional flights will depart Dublin in the evenings. The two-class 787-9s have 299 seats split 28 Business Studios and 271 Economy Smart Seats.

Etihad Airways is offering a free 2-night stopover in the Emirati capital to all travellers flying to international destinations via Abu Dhabi. The free stopover promotion is available for bookings online through etihad.com, or via a travel agent, made by 1st December, for travel until 31st December 2019. Guests can choose from 15 hotels located across the city and experience all that Abu Dhabi has to offer, from cultural and architectural highlights, theme park attractions and sports activities.

Remember to hold on to your Etihad boarding card which doubles as a “Extraordinary Abu Dhabi Pass” which gives 20% off Warner Brothers World and Ferrari World, as well as discounts on designer retail, theme parks, tours, excursions, dining, beach entry and spa treatments (check out Etihad’s website for details and terms).
