Destination DC wanted to showcase and encourage you to ‘Discover The Real DC’. Let’s face it, many people think DC starts and ends with the federal government, but this 68-square-mile city has so much more – and it’s at the top of its game. Michelin-starred restaurants. Pre-Broadway premieres. Hands-on-history. Fabulous festivals. Find out what the District is really all about. Plan your next adventure with sneak peeks, neighbourhood guides and trusted tips HERE.

The Real DC takes viewers on an unexpected journey with local storytellers from all walks of life, here are some of the great journeys you can take a look at and of course share with your customers if you so wish:

Washington, DC’s musical roots inspire its present-day performers, as contemporary hip-hop artist Christylez Bacon explains his own personal musical journey HERE.

One Eight Distilling’s Alex Laufer and Sandy Wood goes through Ivy City, a walkable Washington, DC neighbourhood filled with distilleries and a community of craft spirit makers HERE.

Local storeowner Abai Schulze introduces DC’s thriving Ethiopian community, brought to life through her shop ZAAF collection, a traditional coffee ceremony and more HERE.
