Catania is Sicily’s second largest city and its main square, Piazza Duomo is a UNeSCO World Heritage Site. In the centre of the square stands the symbol of the city - an elephant fountain. Our tour guide Tony brought us on a guided tour of the lively outdoor daily fish market just off the piazza, which also sells fruit and vegetables and pretty much anything else you need.
