Declan Mescall (Features Editor Travelbiz) reports: Our Blue Air flight from Dublin touched down on time in Bucharest and we immediately transferred to our four star accommodation Concorde Old Bucharest Hotel. Then it was time for a brief guided walking tour of the Old Town. Bucharest Old Town is an area of contrasts with beautiful buildings side by side with others awaiting development. The narrow streets play host to an eclectic night life featuring bars, restaurants, night clubs and coffee shops of various ethnic origins giving this ancient area of the city a very cosmopolitan atmosphere. We were joined for dinner by Natalia Ciocotisan (Blue Air) who even entertained us with some songs, and by representatives of Eximtur, the incoming tour operator and Razvan Mark of the Romanian Ministry of Tourism.
