acinta Mc Glynn (Senior Reporter Travelbiz) joins Fiona Dobbyn (Classic Resorts) and Helena Sweeney (Emirates) in saying a fond farewell to the stunning Indonesian island of Bali. Departing Bali was a wrench. To a woman, we all loved this bewitching, beguiling and beautiful place with its gentle and smiling people who actually thank you for visiting their island. Our final lunch was fittingly eaten beachside at the lovely 5 star Nusa Dua Hotel where a bit of sarong shopping was indulged. Well, the economy was boosted, local currency (rupiah) distributed and colourful sarongs and coconut clasps modelled. Grateful thanks to Mr Nada and staff from Bali Tours & Travel for minding us all and showcasing the best of Bali – and for our lovely batik gift. Arnie coined the phrase: “I’ll be back”. Guess what? We all will. A classic trip from Classic Resorts.
