Corporate travel in Ireland has been expanding over the past few years and Atlas Travel has been growing to meet this demand with innovative solutions and servicing concepts. Given that it is now one of Ireland’s most innovative travel management companies it has decided to join forces with Club Travel and become part of the Club Travel Group across its business travel division. Both businesses have a reputation for strong customer service excellence and this is something that will continue to grow.

Liam Lonergan (Group CEO Club Travel) commented, “This continues to be a very exciting time for our clients and our employees. Our focus has been on driving a high level of customer service and innovative solutions and there is a strong alignment with Atlas in this respect”. Lonergan continued “Over the years I have observed Atlas Travel and the innovative role they have played in developing corporate travel in Ireland and have great admiration for the whole team and we are very excited to bring Atlas Travel in under our ownership”.

Stephen Mc Kenna (CEO Atlas Travel) commented, “After 52 years in this great business of travel, this is an opportunity for our clients, customers and employees to avail of the synergies of being part of a bigger group and we are very excited about this development. Our mission has always been to ‘Enhance and exceed every customer experience’ while continuing to be innovative and driving smart solutions of relevance and we are glad that these values will be shared under this new relationship”.

This latest chapter in Club travel growth comes on the back of a busy few years after the group acquired Budget travel, Abbey Travel and now Atlas Travel.
