American Airlines’ Central Division Sales team, headquartered in Chicago, came to Dublin for their bi-annual division meeting. The team totalled 40 account managers and support staff and were joined over the two day meeting facilitated by Caitriona Toner.

American Airlines have a Do Crew program. Employees are encouraged to participate in voluntary service work and log their hours in order to build points converted to miles for chosen charities. When in Dublin this team choose FOCUS IRELAND for a community service project and provided a range of items for homeless people living on the street such as toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, hand lotion etc. The team spent an afternoon packing 700 amenity kits. The team also personally donated a toy gift each to be given to homeless children for Christmas.

“I think it’s great when we as a Company do stuff like this. We make it a priority when we visit a country as a team to engage in some type of community service. Super proud this was done in Dublin and I got to be a part of it!” said Caitriona Toner (Country Manager American Airlines).
