American Airlines - Introduce the A330 Dublin to Chicago

22nd January 2016 - 1:05pm

From 6th May American Airlines (AA) will upgrade its service from Dublin to Chicago O'Hare International Airport with the introduction of the Airbus A330-200.   The Airbus A330-200 offers 20 lie-flat, fully aisle-accessible Business Class suites, 232 Economy Class seats and personal in-flight entertainment for every customer onboard.   The Airbus A330 is already operated on flights from Dublin to American’s hubs in Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Philadelphia.   Passengers travelling from Ireland have the facility to pre-clear US Customs and Border Protection on all flights before departure.

The route will complement American’s additional services from Ireland to the United States, with flights from Dublin to Charlotte (CLT), Philadelphia (PHL), New York (JFK) and from Shannon (SNN) to Philadelphia.   “The introduction of American’s third daily A330 flight from Dublin is great news for customers travelling across the Atlantic,” said David Thomas (Director Sales UK & Ireland).   “This development demonstrates the increased demand between Ireland and the United States, and our commitment to enhancing the inflight experience for our passengers.”
