Malta is just a 3 and ½ hour direct flight from Ireland and Irish visitors now have two options when flying to Malta. Passengers can fly directly from Dublin or Shannon Airport with Ryanair. The Shannon route was launched in March 2022 and was the first ever scheduled Ryanair service to Malta from Shannon Airport.
There are currently three flights from Dublin to Malta per week and two flights from Shannon Airport per week.
