Get a flavour of some of the destinations across the United States - see Aer Lingus’ Taste of America:

Boston - Long known for its “old world” charm, from the historic Faneuil Hall to the Freedom Trail that celebrates Boston’s preeminent role in the American Revolution, Boston has come a long way towards staking its claim in the 21st century. Attractions span the old and the new, including beautiful public libraries, fascinating museums and plenty of sports. With a collection of parks set to take the place of the ungainly elevated highways, the years to come promise to see Boston grow ever more beautiful.

Philadelphia - As the birthplace of America and remains one of the nation’s top attractions. Historical buildings, sculptures and murals line streets that were once walked by the Founding Fathers of the United States. Weather varies throughout the seasons, vacillating between mild springs, hot summers, and chilly winters, but always the City of Brotherly Love.

Orlando - Orlando is the theme park capital of the world. Best of all, Orlando offers new and exciting experiences for visitors each year, so there’s always a reason to return. Plan to visit the many amazing theme parks and water parks including Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort! With attractions, blockbuster rides, fabulous shopping, award-winning restaurants, spectacular museums and world-class entertainment, there’s something for everyone in Orlando.

Fort Lauderdale is a destination that will keep the well-travelled with a discriminating taste satisfied. The year-round mild temperatures make the sandy beaches an ideal relaxing spot during the daytime. At night, however, the long boulevard turns into a vibrant party mile with clubs, bars and pubs as far as the eye can see. This city is a hip explorer's paradise.

Progressive yet laid-back, Seattle, also called 'The Emerald City', is the largest city of Washington State, and is home to the iconic Space Needle, the famous Pike Place Market, and the new Chihuly Garden and Glass. Noted as the birthplace of grunge music and coffee shops like Starbucks and Tully’s, Seattle is far sunnier than its reputation as a rainy city.

Miami boasts glamour, elegance and a cosmopolitan attitude, and on the Atlantic coast of Florida’s most southern tip, it has year-round sunshine. This international metropolis has its North American core with a twist of Caribbean culture, a healthy dose of Latin America, a dash of Africa, a touch of Asia and a hint of Europe. All these elements and their fascinating blend give Miami a vibrant and exhilarating cultural life.
