What a perfect day as Charlie, Peter, Keith and Angelo raise the Trophy to Robbie

#Traveltradetogether

What a perfect day and way to celebrate the life and memory of our dear friend and colleague Robbie Smart with his dad Charlie, brother Keith Uncle Peter and dear friend Angelo winning the Shannon Airport, Robbie Smart memorial TIGS outing at the Heritage Golf Resort.

It was a perfect day with sunshine, comradery and memories shared on and off the course as TIGS members and guests recorded some great scores on this memorable event which was very kindly sponsored by Declan Power and Isabel Harrison from Shannon Airport. A huge shout of thanks also to Don (Travelbiz), Lee (Bookabed), Brian (island Marketing) and Derek (GTI) who sponsored nearest the pin, longest drives for the ladies and gents on the day. Tony Flynn (Nebo Tours) donated an amazing prize of a week in Jordan which TIGS members will be able to support by buying tickets throughout the season with all proceeds going to Robbie’s Fund supporting his dear wife Emma and daughters. Thanks so much Tony.

The winners presented by Marian Benton (TIGS Captain 2023).

James Flemming and the Cassidy Travel Team finished in fourth place, the Peter O’Hanlon squad finished in third place, The team of David and Bill Smith finished runners up and Robbie ensured that Charlie, Peter and Keith Smart along with dear friend Angelo raised the winner’s trophy to their brother, son, friend and father on the day. What a perfect way to celebrate the life and memory of Robbie.

Congratulations to all players on the day and thanks again to our valued sponsors Shannon Airport.
