We are sailing

#Traveltradetogether

Rod Stewart, eat your heart out! Jacinta (Travelbiz) joined Marie McCarthy, Catriona Butler and David O’Connor (Irish Ferries) on the magnificent W.B Yeats ferry en route to La Belle France.

Sailing directly from Dublin Port, we ply the waves on a lovely sunny spring afternoon, excited to experience this novel idea of a wine tasting and food fayre on board this imposing vessel. Bound for Cherbourg, France beckons. Normandie Tourism partners with Irish Ferries and we have a delightful itinerary planned. My deluxe cabin on board is top notch with great facilities, private bathroom and even a mini bar. This is ferry travel with a difference. An afternoon in the Innisfree Club Class lounge on board W.B. Yeats nibbling canapes with Marie, David and Catriona from Irish Ferries is an extremely pleasant way to while away a sunny afternoon! The wine tasting is sublime and, accompanied by ‘aromatic’ mature cheeses, the course is set for a marvellous mini cruise. So, excusez moi, but I have a date in the Innisfree Club Class Lounge to continue tasting some local French wines. My educated palate may be required!
