Viva Las Vegas with Aer Lingus☘✈

Jacinta and Peter from Travelbiz joined Ivan Beacom, Jenny Rafter and Yvonne Muldoon, Liza Hammond and Lynsey Lamont (Team Aer Lingus) and Tryphavana Cross (LVCVA) in Café en Seine on Dublin’s Dawson Street on Tuesday 11th June to celebrate the inaugural flights from Dublin to Las Vegas. Commencing October 25th 2024, flights will operate three times weekly until March. This is a truly exciting departure for Aer Lingus and a destination across the pond that is bound to fly!

The charms and attractions of Las Vegas need little introduction and that amazing resort smack in the middle of the Mojave Desert is capital of the US State of Nevada and it’s said it can even be seen glinting from space! Known primarily for casinos and gambling, but latterly just as famous for fabulous themed hotels, high-end dining, world class entertainment and fabled nightlife, Vegas is a dream destination for holidaymakers. With global stars such as Celine Dion, Tom Jones, U2 and many more gracing the stages of Vegas, our own Tryphavana Cross (LVCVA) who has long represented Las Vegas, extolls the resort’s virtues at every juncture.

The inaugural Aer Lingus flights will undoubtedly prove to be hugely popular and I foresee the route becoming a stalwart on the Aer Lingus calendar. The excitement of Team Aer Lingus certainly seems to augur well anyway. A little word of caution though for all those hardy travellers to Las Vegas who may contemplate mischief: “What goes on in Vegas, stays in Vegas”! Vegas Baby….
