Virgin Voyages celebrates First Mate Appreciation Month with first ever Irish-dedicated fam trip

Virgin Voyages is celebrating its Irish First Mates (travel agents) throughout July with First Mate Appreciation Month. The campaign is designed to thank agents with extra incentives and exclusive opportunities.

As part of the campaign, every booking logged through First Mate Loot – the online agent incentive platform – will earn First Mates €15, three times the usual €5 per booking.

First Mates will also have the chance to win a place on the brand’s first ever dedicated Irish fam trip, with three places up for grabs during First Mate Appreciation Month. A total of 20 Irish First Mates will join Resilient Lady’s Mexico & Bimini Beach Club voyage, departing November 16, 2026 from Miami.

Virgin Voyages Gold Rush to the Caribbean

Each prize includes return flights from Dublin to Miami, hotel accommodation before sailing, airport transfers, a Sea Terrace cabin plus one included Shore Thing excursion.

To be in with a chance of winning, agents must complete Virgin Voyages’ online training – Seacademy – reaching Gold Tier status. The winners will be announced via Virgin Voyages’ dedicated Irish Trade Facebook page, ‘The Bridge, Ireland’ and the weekly Inside Intel newsletter.

The campaign runs alongside Virgin Voyages’ current ‘Free Balcony Upgrade’ offer, which allows Sailors (guests) to book a Sea Terrace cabin at the same price as a Sea View cabin. The balcony upgrade offer is available for new bookings made until July 31, across all voyages on Scarlet Lady, Resilient Lady, Valiant Lady and Brilliant Lady, including sailings to the Caribbean, Mediterranean, North America and Alaska.
