Utah Night at the movies

Jacinta from Travelbiz joins UTAH Office of Tourism and regional partners to celebrate 100 years of Film & Television. Hosted by Jenni Bridgman (Account Director UK & Ireland), Lily Mc Keown and Emma Checketts (UTAH Office of Tourism) in the Stella Cinema in Ranelagh in Dublin on March 21st, the amazing anniversary is celebrated with story ideas for 2024, followed by the screening of a classic movie, filmed in UTAH, naturally!
Becki Lewis (Cedar City, UTAH) and Janette Peatross (Tourism Director Kane County) were lauding the magic of small town America and wooing us all with stunning scenery, iconic landscapes and national parks. Bordered by Idaho, Nevada, Colorado and Arizona, the State of UTAH (famous capital city, Salt Lake City) boasts the Rockies, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon and is often called “Little Hollywood” due to its long history of movie making.
Classic Westerns (The Lone Ranger and Gunsmoke) ride high in UTAH and those coral dunes and red sandstone outcrops were backdrop to many fabulous TV shows. UTAH is unparalleled for hiking, skiing (some of the best in the US), adventure trails, national monuments, wineries and excellent dining options – paradise for a fly-drive holiday. Now, excuse me, but it’s time for Thelma & Louise. Mmmnn……. I wonder if Geena Davis or Susan Sarandon are in the house?…….
