Tribute to Caroline Browne (Phoenix Travel)

#Traveltradetogether

#TRAVELTRADETOGETHER

The news of the sudden passing of Caroline Browne (Phoenix Travel Greystones) has been met with profound sadness by all who knew Caroline and had the great pleasure of working and dealing with over the years.

The shock of Caroline’s untimely passing has been felt by so many of us in the trade and magnifies how tight a community we are and how such tragic news can refocus your thoughts and bring us together to share a great memory or story of Caroline. The words and tribute paid to Caroline by Lee, Rebecca, Kathy, Heather, Anne Marie, Alan and Lisa reflecting on her 35 years working with Falcon Travel and Phoenix travel said it all. Dedicated, loyal, strong, honest, committed, a true colleague and friend that was loved and respected by all who she touched.

Speaking to an industry colleague who worked with Caroline in the early Falcon Travel days, I reflected on one of the very first Industry Fam trips to Lapland, many moons ago, where I had the great pleasure of travelling with Caroline. It was one of those trips where a small group bonded and laughed solid for days on one of the most memorable journeys that we always reflected upon whenever we met.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Caroline’s beloved husband Alex, Mother Una and adopted Father Joe. Predeceased by her Father Andy, and adopted Mother Patty, brothers John, Nigel, Andrew, Noel, Joseph and James, sisters Margaret, Mary, Bernie and Patricia. She will be sadly missed by her family, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and colleagues.

Rest in peace Caroline and on behalf of all here at Travelbiz, our Industry readers and followers, may the fairways on your new journey bring you endless sunshine and birdies for us to share with you when we meet again.
