Travelbiz onboard Seabourn Venture in Dublin Port

#Traveltradetogether

On a special showcase visit to Dublin Port the Seabourn Venture, built in 2022, with capacity for only 264 guests in 132 luxurious all veranda ocean-front suites, was visited by a select group of travel trade partners and Declan Mescall (Features Editor Travelbiz) for a ship inspection followed by lunch on board this very unique luxury vessel.

This vessel represents a new era in expedition cruising, designed for those whose appetite for unique experiences is matched by a taste for ultra-luxury amenities and all-inclusive elegance. Two custom-built 6-seater submarines are available for hire while at sea for $1,000 per hour and provide an unforgettable view of the world beneath the ocean’s surface while a compliment of 8 kayaks and 24 zodiacs may accommodate all guests at once on off-ship exploration trips. Seabourn Venture is designed and purpose built specifically for exploring the most remote, coveted and pristine destinations on earth carrying intrepid travellers to Antarctica, Artic, the Kimberly, the South Pacific and more.

The vessel boasts an onboard world-class 26 -person Expedition Team of wilderness experts, academics, scientists, historians and naturalists who accompany passengers on immersive off-ship expedition experiences such as scuba diving, snorkelling, nature walks and hikes using zodiacs, kayaks and of course the submarines. On board, they provide expert insights into biodiversity, ecosystems, physical science, history and culture of the places you visit. The onboard facilities include fine dining restaurants with 8 dining experiences, Spa and Wellness Centre, 9 suite categories, 8 lounges and bars , gym, theatre, 4 outdoor whirlpools and 1 outdoor infinity pool. Our Seabourn hosts were Carly Perkins (Senior Marketing Manager) and Cecile Tootell (Account Director).
