Travelbiz at the Ballet with ATTS

#Traveltradetogether

Gliding along on gossamer wings, like the Corps de Ballet, Jacinta from Travelbiz attends the Estonian National Ballet at the kind invitation of ATTS Travel Representation Solutions who represent Visit Estonia here. The Estonian Ambassador to Ireland, Her Excellency Mrs Kairi Kunka attended and had warm words and Agnia Nast (Marketing Manager Visit Estonia) equally offered a lovely welcome. Joining the ebullient Catherine Grennell-Whyte (MD ATTS) for a delicious dinner in the Marker Hotel before the ballet performance, I’m apprised of ATTS success to date. Established since 2002, Catherine has solidified the company as an award-winning market leader in GSA Representation and travel & tourism industry.

Bord Gais Energy Theatre has staged stunning shows over the years but perhaps none so graceful as Swan Lake. Touring with over 70 sumptuous sets, gorgeous costumes and classically trained dancers, the production is a veritable feast for the senses. From its birthplace in the Tallinn Opera House, we’re indeed privileged to witness the spectacular performance on its opening night. Like ethereal beings flitting along the stage in their teeny tutus, the Corps de Ballet shimmer, sylph-like and perfectly synchronised, to set the scene for Swan Queen Odette and Prince Siegfried who struggle against the evil sorcerer, Rothbart. Accompanied by the Irish National Opera Orchestra, the brilliant Tchaikovsky score is mesmerising. Raw talent and discipline are evident in the wonderful production. Choreography is masterful, music magnificent.  Magic that lasts long after the curtains close…..

My tutu may be ruffled, but not my feathers and my barre practice is ongoing! Thank you to Visit Estonia and Catherine and her team at ATTS for a delightful evening of culture and sophisticated entertainment.
