10th May 2023 at 12:00 pm Celene Duffy has recently joined APG Ireland as Key Account Manager and will be responsible for promoting the airlines represented by APG Ireland to the Irish travel trade.
APG Ireland represents several prestigious carriers including Virgin Atlantic, WestJet and Egyptair.
Celene started her travel career with Delta Airlines before working for a number of travel agents including Sunway and Topflight. For the last few years, she has worked in media and marketing sales for the Irish Independent Newspaper, including media sales to the travel trade.
Ponant Luxury Expedition Cruises with Travelbiz

Wideroe Airlines launch from Dublin
10th May 2023 at 12:00 pm Jacinta (Travelbiz) was at the exciting Wideroe’s inaugural flight from Dublin to Bergen in Norway on 27 April. Officials from Dublin airport were in attendance to witness Wideroe (pronounce with a V) landing and to wave passengers off on the inaugural flight.

TIGS (Travel Industry Golf Society) recently held their first outing of the year at Portmarnock Links. The weather Gods looked favourably on them as they played in glorious spring sunshine. Portmarnock Links is in the final stages of a major revamp which will bring it to an even higher level of links golf as the TIGS members got to preview the course and put their respective games to the test.

American Airlines adds Direct Flights from Dublin
27th April 2023 at 12:30 pm This Summer, American Airlines is bringing back direct flights from Dublin to Charlotte, making it even easier for visitors from Ireland to explore North Carolina. The route will launch on 4th May and will run until Autumn.
